Community Code of Conduct

Effective: July 1, 2024

Viridian Dads Club events are family-friendly. This Code sets expectations so everyone can feel welcome, safe, and included.

Event volunteers are identifiable by shirts with the Viridian Dads Club logo.

1) Be Respectful

• Speak and act with courtesy toward attendees, volunteers, venue staff, and neighbors.
• Zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or intimidation.
• Resolve disagreements calmly; ask a volunteer for help if needed.

2) Safety First

• Follow posted signs, venue/HOA rules, and staff/volunteer instructions.
• Use equipment and activities as directed; honor capacity, age, height, and weight limits.
• Report hazards or injuries immediately to a volunteer (look for Viridian Dads Club shirts) or via Contact.

3) Supervision of Children

• Parents/guardians must supervise minors in their care at all times.
• Designated “drop-off” activities (if any) will state supervision details clearly; otherwise, an adult must remain on-site.

4) Substances & Prohibited Items

• No alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or illegal substances at school or child-focused events.
• No weapons or fireworks. Follow venue rules for bag checks where applicable.
• No drones or aerial devices unless pre-approved in writing by the club and the venue.

5) Accessibility & Inclusion

• We strive for accessible venues and activities. Request accommodations at least 7 days ahead via Contact.
• Harassment or exclusion based on any personal characteristic is not tolerated.

7) Lost & Found / Lost Child

• Lost items: bring to or ask at the check-in desk; unclaimed items may be donated after a reasonable period.
• Lost child protocol: alert the nearest volunteer in a Viridian Dads Club shirt immediately. We notify venue staff, pause relevant activities, and reunite the child with their guardian at check-in.

8) Enforcement

• Volunteers may issue warnings, pause participation, or remove individuals to protect safety and experience for others.
• Serious or repeated violations may result in removal without refund and possible exclusion from future events.

9) Acknowledgment

Attendance at Viridian Dads Club events indicates agreement to this Code. Thank you for helping us keep events welcoming and safe for all families.
